Two senior Chinese railway officials face bribery charges

Two senior Chinese railway officials are to be prosecuted in Shanghai for accepting bribes.

The anticorruption bureau of the third branch (railway transport) of Shanghai People's Procuratorate has completed an investigation into the case of Guo Hong, deputy head of the personnel department of China Railway Corporation (CRC) and transferred the case to prosecutors.

The third branch began investigation into Guo in May and Guo was arrested in June.

The investigation into Chen Ling, former deputy head of the Chengdu Railway Bureau and general manager of three railway transport companies, has also been completed, said the municipal procuratorate. Endi
