LME base metals slide again on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) dipped again on Wednesday after equity markets posted further losses.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 71.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.42 percent, to 4,952.5 dollars per tonne.
In other metals, the three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 18 dollars, or 1.16 percent, to 1,534 dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial lead price lost 28 dollars, or 1.67 percent, to 1,651 dollars a tonne.
Meanwhile, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 37 dollars, or 2.12 percent, to 1,706 dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 62.5 dollars, or 0.65 percent, to 9,562.5 dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial tin price lost 300 dollars, or 2.12 percent, to 13,825 dollars a tonne. Endit
