South African van Niekerk wins 400m

South Africa's Wayde van Niekerk clocked 43.48 seconds to win the men's 400m title at the world athletics championships on Wednesday.

American LaShawn Merritt came second in 43.65 seconds with Grenada's Kirani James in third place in 43.78. Endi
