1st Ld-Writethru: DPRK's Choe Ryong-hae to attend China's V-Day celebrations

Choe Ryong-hae, a high-ranking official of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, will attend China's Victory Day celebrations on September 3, vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Choe is a member of the Politburo Presidium and the secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The events will commemorate the 70th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the end of World War II. Endi
