Urgent: Indian Air Force MiG crashes in Indian-controlled Kashmir

An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG crashed Monday in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.

The MiG crashed in a paddy field in village Soibugh of Budgam district, about 14 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.

"An IAF MiG has crashed today at Soibugh while taking sorties," a senior police official said.

Police and rescue teams have been rushed to the spot.

"Further details are awaited," the official said. Endi
