A visiting Chinese official expressed China's wish here on Sunday to help rebuild quake- ravaged Nepal's economy by deepening party-to-party relations.

Dou Enyong, assistant minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, told media at the Tribhuwan International Airport upon his arrival that China will help with Nepal's reconstruction.

"We should deepen party-to-party relations and promote cooperation projects with political parties of Nepal so that it can improve quake-suffered people's livelihood," said the Chinese official.

He is scheduled to meet leaders of Nepal's major political parties during his tour. Endi
