Cameroonian player joins hands with Eto'o in Turkish league

Xinhua, August 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

Turkish super league club Antalyaspor agreed to sign Jean Makoun, making the 32-year-old the second Cameroonian to join the team this season after Samuel Eto'o, local BGN News reported Thursday.

Makoun became a free player after spending the past three seasons at French side Stade Rennais. The Cameroon international had been training with the Turkish club for the past week, managing to impress coach Yusuf Simsek.

The newly promoted Antalyaspor made headlines in the start of the season by acquiring Samuel Eto'o who began the season with flying colors, scoring two goals in his team's 3-2 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir. Endi
