Airport animations promote travel etiquette

Xinhua, August 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chinese airports and airlines have begun broadcasting new state-produced animations informing people about laws on exit and entry of the country as well as international travel etiquette.

The eight-episode series released by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) is titled "New Journey to the West" and based on Chinese epic "Journey to the West." The nine-minute episodes feature a character who helps master Monk Tang and his three disciples tour the world.

The MPS said more education on travel procedures and etiquette was needed due to rapid growth in tourism. China's outbound tourists alone topped 100 million last year. Endi
