Department chief of China's environmental protection ministry under probe

A department head of China's Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) is under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and laws, the authority said Wednesday.

The official is Xiong Yuehui, head of the Department of Science, Technology and Standards of MEP, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China said on its website. Endi
