Spain prepares for Exercise Trident Juncture 2015: NATO

Foreseen to be the hub of a joint task force headquarters, a tent city in Zaragoza, Spain is rising from the ground, a NATO press release said Tuesday.
Manned by NATO's Joint Force Command Brunssum personnel, the tent city was erected in due time for the exercise Trident Juncture 2015 scheduled to launch in the last week of September.
A total of 392 containers with all the necessary equipment arrived at the base at the end of July, and around 120 soldiers from Austria, Germany, and the United States are busy preparing for the upcoming exercise.
Several other locations in Spain, as well as Italy and Portugal, are also now preparing for Trident Juncture 2015.
Exercise Trident Juncture 2015 will be the largest exercise conducted by the Alliance since 2002 and will involve 36,000 personnel from more than 30 NATO Allies and partners. Endit
