Indian stocks closed lower in choppy trade on Tuesday as investors pared positions on risk aversion after a steep fall in Chinese equities.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 27,831.54, 46.73 points or 0.17 percent down from previous close of 27,878.27, with a turnover of 485.84 crore rupees. Endi
