San Lorenzo, Boca Juniors, leaders in Argentina's local tournament

In the 20th matchday of Argentina's local tournament, San Lorenzo and Boca Juniors became leaders followed by River Plate, local media reported Monday.

In the Sunday match, San Lorenzo defeated 2-1 Crucero with goals scored by Julio Buffarini and Matias Caruzzo. Crucero's goal was scored by Jose Dujauto.

With this result, San Lorenzo was the first club to reach 40 points in the standings, with 13 victories, four ties and three defeats.

On the other hand, Boca Juniors defeated Arsenal de Sarandi and as well became leader together with San Lorenzo.

River Plate, the current Copa America and Copa Suruga champion, will face San Martin on Monday and if it wins, it might also reach 40 points. So far, River has 37 points in 18 matches, including 10 won games, seven ties and one lost game. Endit
