Spanish stock market rises 0.19 pct on first day of the week

Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.19 percent on the first day of the week to close at 10,900 points, up from the 10,879.30 points of Friday.

On Monday session OHL shares led rises climbing 1.44 percent, followed by Sacyr, Inditex, ACS, Indra A and Gamesa that rose 1.43 percent, 1.14 percent, 1.09 percent, 1.03 percent and 0.93 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Abengoa "B", Bankia and Acerinox shares led falls losing 1.06 percent each, followed by Mediaset, Tecnicas Reunidas and Grifols that lost 0.96 percent, 0.63 percent and 0.44 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 132.30 points on Monday closing time falling from the 136.20 points of Friday in a week marked by the tensions created after the Yuan devaluation. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.954 percent, also falling from the 2.012 percent of Friday. Endit
