Indonesian men's doubles pair won the last final match of the 22nd World Badminton Championship here on Sunday after trashing their lower seeding opponents from China.

Hendra and Ahsan, seeded Number 3, ended the match against the Number 9 Chinese pairing Liu Xiaolong and Qiu Zihan in two straight games lasting for 37 minutes with scores of 21-17 and 21- 14.

The Indonesian pair was the only finalist from the host country and seized the championship.

China dominates the world badminton championship held here since Monday, as its defending champions in men's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles all managed to retain their crowns. Endi
