Torrential rain is expected in China's southwestern regions in the next three days.

Southwest China's Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei and Hunan will see precipitation up to 200 mm with hail and thunder in some areas, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Sunday.

The rain will also affect northern and northeastern China with mild to medium rainfall, as well as part of Inner Mongolia.

The NMC also issued a flood warning for mountainous areas of Fujian, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet. Endi
