LME base metals prices close mixed on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on Friday.

Energy giant Glencore said its total own-sourced copper production would decrease 3 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2015.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 24 U.S. dollars, or 0.46 percent, to 5,163 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 1.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.10 percent, to 1,577 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 1.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.09 percent, to 1,745 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 3 U.S. dollars, or 0.16 percent, to 1,838 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 25 U.S. dollars, or 0.24 percent, to 10,562.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 350 U.S. dollars, or 2.32 percent, to 15,425 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
