French stock market index down 1.86 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 1.86 percent, or 96.38 points, to close at 5,099.03 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Tuesday with all the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most were LVMH, down 5.42 percent, Valeo, down 4.92 percent, and ArcelorMittal, down 4.48 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.79 percent to close at 5,195.41 points, up 40.66 points. Enditem
