UN Security Council on Friday adopted a resolution to set up a panel to identify the perpetrators of the deadly chlorine gas attacks in Syria.
In a unanimously adopted resolution, the 15-body council "reiterates that no party in Syria should use, develop, produce, acquire, stockpile, retain, or transfer chemical weapons." (UN-Syria)

LA REUNION, France -- Authority of France's overseas island La Reunion has confirmed the plan of search for more MH370 parts and said the search will last for at least one week.
Dominique Sorain, La Reunion's administrator, told reporters Friday that a military transport plane was patrolling the seas off the coast and a ship had also departed for search. (France-MH370)

KABUL -- The death toll of a deadly truck bombing in Afghan capital of Kabul has risen to 15, an official said on Friday.
"The latest figures showed 15 innocent civilians were killed as a result of the coward attack in Kabul at wee hours of Friday," deputy to Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Gahni's spokesman, Sayyed Zafar Hashimi, told reporters. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

BAMAKO -- Five suspects have been arrested in Gourma-Rharous locality in northern Mali region of Timbuktu, after Monday's attack on a Malian military camp in the same locality, which left 11 soldiers dead, security sources told Xinhua on Thursday.
"The five were arrested for being in possession of military uniforms of the killed soldiers while others were identified by local populations," the sources added. (Mali-Attack)

DAMASCUS -- The Islamic State (IS) militants have snatched dozens of Syrian Christians, including women and children, in the town of Qaryateyn in central Syria, a monitor group reported Friday.
