Malaysia, Vietnam seek to enhance bilateral ties

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak held talks here Friday with his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung on bilateral ties, the state news agency Bernama reported.

The two leaders held a restricted meeting before proceeding for the delegation meeting.

They are expected to take stock of the progress of existing bilateral relations and discuss enhancement of cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.

The Vietnamese prime minister is on a two-day official visit to Malaysia at the invitation of Najib. This is his third visit to the country since he took office as the prime minister in 2006. Endi
