Deficit in Iceland's balance of trade falls in July

Iceland saw the deficit in its balance of trade in goods decrease to 4.4 billion Icelandic krona (32.7 million U.S. dollars) in July from 10.4 billion Icelandic krona in June, Statistics Iceland said Friday.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to over 51.9 billion krona, while the value of imported goods amounted to almost 56.4 billion krona in July.

Compared with June, the value of exported goods in July decreased 4.1 billion krona, while the value of imported goods decreased 10 billion krona. (1 U.S. dollar = 134.6 Icelandic Krona) Endit
