A car bombing went off early Friday morning in eastern part of Afghan capital Kabul, killing at least eight people and wounding more than 100 others, the police said.

A security source told Xinhua anonymously earlier that the incident occurred near an army camp in Shah Shahid area at around 01:00 a.m. local time Friday, causing casualties. All the victims are civilians, the police said. Endi
