Urgent: Car bombing hits Afghan capital

A car bombing went off early Friday morning in eastern part of Afghan capital of Kabul, leaving casualties and damages, said a security source.

"The incident occurred near an army camp in Shah Shahid area at around 01:00 a.m. Friday, causing casualties and that details will be revealed later on the day," the source told Xinhua anonymously.

No official was immediately available to make comments while General Ayoub Salangi, deputy interior ministry, confirmed on his twitter account that a huge blast took place in Kabul in wee hours of Friday. Enditem
