Urgent: Gold up on weak U.S. dollar

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose Thursday on a weaker U.S. dollar.

The most active gold contract for December delivery rose 4.5 U. S. dollars, or 0.41 percent, to settle at 1,090.10 dollars per ounce. Endite
