Malaysia Airlines vows cooperation on MH370

Xinhua, August 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Malaysia Airlines' Beijing office has vowed to fully cooperate with the MH370 investigation, as consensus forms that the flaperon found on Reunion Island was part of the lost flight.

It said in a statement on Thursday that it will continue to update passengers' families on the search, and that it extended its "deepest sympathies to those affected."

Malaysia's prime minister has said the flaperon had been confirmed as part of MH370, though other parties involved in the investigation have stopped short of expressing complete confidence. Some family members of the passengers have complained about the apparent mixed messages.

"We expect and hope that there will be more objects found which will be able to help resolve this mystery," the Beijing office said.

Also on Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying requested Malaysia honor its commitments, continue the investigation into the cause of the accident, provide the families with necessary help and uphold their lawful rights and interests. Endi
