Indonesia's Bali airport resumes operations

Xinhua, August 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali has resumed operations earlier than expected, an official at Indonesia's transport ministry said here on Thursday.

Operations at the airport resumed at 14:10 p.m. Jakarta time, earlier than the scheduled 17:00 p.m. Jakarta time, J.A. Barata, a spokesman of the ministry told Xinhua via phone.

The ministry shut down operations of the airport at 11:00 a.m. Thursday due to the spread of volcanic ash from Mount Raung volcano. Endi
