Dollar trades in upper 124 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 124 yen level in Tokyo on Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.80-83 yen compared with 124.81-91 yen in New York and 124.40-42 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro traded at 1.0902-0903 dollars and 136.05-07 yen against 1.0902-0912 dollars and 136.13-23 yen in New York and 1. 0863-0865 dollars and 135.14-18 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
