Visiting Atletico Madrid beat Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shanghai SIPG 3-0 here on Tuesday in their fourth warm-up match this summer, as Chinese player Xu Xin made his debut in the Spanish club.

Shanghai's key players Wu Lei, Yu Hai and Cai Huikang missed the match as they played for the Chinese national team in the East Asian Cup.

Atletico's Antoine Griezmann found the net in the 10th and 25th minute, giving his team a 2-0 lead in the first half.

Fernando Torres, who returned to Atletico last season, came off the bench in the second half and added another goal in the 46th minute.

Atletico gave the Chinese boy Xu Xin his debut with three-goal lead in hand.

"He had a good performance today, with his strong desire for the game. I hope that he can improve and give Chinese and Spanish football more surprise in the future," said Diego Simeone, Atletico's coach. Endi
