Poland to pay fine for exceeding milk quota

Poland will have to pay 660 million zloty (about 174 million U.S. dollars) fine for exceeding the EU milk quota, the Polish Agricultural Market Agency (ARR) informed in its summary of year 2014/2015.

All of the farmers who exceeded limit will face a fine.

According to the ARR, the quota was exceeded by around 580.3 million kilograms, which is an equivalent of 5.58 percent.

The limits were exceeded by 63,500 milk producers who will be charged with the fine. Endit
