(Sports) Extreme sailing returning to Sydney

Xinhua, August 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

High-speed sailing will return to Sydney Harbor for the final stage of the 2015 Extreme Sailing Series, the New South Wales government confirmed on Monday.

High performance catamarans will race a new-look stadium style course around the Sydney Harbor foreshore, bounded by Garden Island, the Sydney Opera House and Fort Denison, from Dec. 10-13.

The global series - established in 2007 - has previously been held in Amsterdam, Venice, Hong Kong and Singapore, among others.

Sydney held its first extreme sailing stage in 2014. Endi
