Top Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam, world No. 1,312, will participate in the men's F26-28 Futures in Egypt, slated for August 10, local newspaper Vietnam News reported Sunday.

The 18-year-old player has so far attended three Futures tournaments in Thailand, Indonesia and Belgium. He entered the quarter-finals in Thailand and Indonesia.

After F26-28 Futures, Nam will compete in the U.S Open slated for September 6-13.

Nam, born in southern Tay Ninh province, became the first Vietnamese to claim a Grand Slam junior title after winning the boys' doubles trophy at the Wimbledon championships, with an Indian partner on July 12. Endi
