BUJUMBURA -- The Burundian constitutional court has endorsed the re-election of the east African country's President Pierre Nkurunziza for another five-year term, the constitutional court said Thursday afternoon.

ABUJA -- Heavy casualties were feared after a suicide bombing rocked Gamboru, a market town in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state early Friday, a military source and witnesses said.
