The wreckage of Lao military helicopter that crashed Monday was located near the border of the provinces of Borikhamxay and Xaysomboun Wednesday afternoon, local media reported Thursday

The Mi-17 helicopter operated by the Lao Army's aviation wing was reportedly en route to the provinces of Xiengkhuoang and Huaphan when it lost contact with ground crews at 13:10 local time Monday.

The aircraft with 4 crew members and 19 passengers on board reportedly lost communication with the Aviation Control Center shortly after departing capital Vientiane. Endi
