British PM David Cameron to visit Singapore

Xinhua, July 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

British Prime Minister David Cameron will pay an official visit to Singapore from Tuesday to Wednesday, said Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Monday.

An official welcome ceremony will be held for Cameron on Wednesday, and he will call on Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam and meet with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who will host a lunch for him as well.

MFA said Cameron's visit reaffirms the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Britain as the two countries commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. Endi
