Xinhua, July 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

Three people were killed and 16 others injured when a minibus plunged off a mountain road in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Monday morning.

The bus carrying 19 people veered off the road between Lijiang City, a famous tourist spot in Yunnan, and Yongsheng County at around 7:15 a.m., said the local government's publicity department.

All the injured have been sent to hospital for treatment. The passengers were not tourists.

The bus was not overloaded as it is allowed to carry 19 people. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Endi
