Beijing 2022 bid delegation leaves for Kuala Lumpur

The journey begins!

The delegation of the Beijing 2022 bidding committee has left Beijing this morning for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where the International Olympic Committee will vote on the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games on July 31.

2008 Summer Olympics host Beijing competes against Almaty, Kazakhstan in the race.

Each city will give the final presentation on the election day to the IOC members during the 128th session. Following the presentations and a report given by the Evaluation Commission Chair, the IOC members vote to select the host city. Endi
