Portuguese criminal police seize some 2 kg cocaine at Lisbon airport

Portugal's criminal police have seized almost 2 kilos of cocaine at Lisbon Airport and detained a native passenger from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the police said on Friday.

The suspect, aged 37, arrived in a TAP airline flight, and the police seized around 1,940 grams of cocaine which the passenger carried concealed in his luggage, the police said, according to Portuguese Lusa News Agency.

The detainee will be subjected to a first judicial interrogation and will be kept under preventive prison, according to the police. Endit
