Indonesia's inflation forecast to accelerate to 0.76 pct in July

The Indonesian central bank estimated the country's July monthly inflation at 0.76 percent, rising from 0.54 percent in June, bank governor Agus Martowardojo disclosed here Friday.

"Based on our survey that at the third week (of July) inflation was at 0.76 percent (and) it will keep exist until the end of the month," he said.

The bank is optimistic about inflation being controlled within the range of the targeted 3-5 percent by the end of the year, Martowardojo said.

The country's inflation from January to June stood at 0.96 percent, according to him. Endi
