Tokyo shares end lower by break on weak U.S performance

Tokyo shares ended the morning session lower on Friday following weak performances in the overnight U.S. market.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 141.20 points, or 0.68 percent, from Thursday to 20,542.75.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 9.67 points, or 0.58 percent, at 1, 655.21. Endi
