Chinese, ASEAN diplomats to discuss Code of Conduct in S. China Sea

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin and senior diplomats from Southeast Asia will gather in China's Tianjin next week to discuss a Code of Conduct (COC) in the South China Sea, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said the 9th China-ASEAN senior officials' meeting on the implementation of the declaration on the conduct of parties in the South China Sea (DOC) will be held on July 29.

Participants will exchange views on implementation of the DOC, practical maritime cooperation and a COC. Endi
