Indian stocks advanced on Tuesday after overseas funds extended their monthly purchases of local shares.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 28,504.93, 322.79 points or 1.15 percent up from previous close of 28,182.14, with a turnover of 555.53 crore rupees. Endi
