At least 13 people have died and 22 others are affected by Japanese Encephalitis in the northeastern Indian state of Assam in the past 10 days, a health official said Wednesday.
"All the victims are from the state's Jorhat district. While 13 people have passed away in two hospitals in the past 10 days, those affected are currently undergoing treatment in the two hospitals as well as in a private hospital," he said, on condition of anonymity.(India-Japanese Encephalitis-Death)

MAIMANA, Afghanistan -- At least 10 people were killed while more than 30 others wounded after a suicide bomb attack hit a marketplace in Afghanistan's northern province of Faryab on Wednesday, official sources said.

JAKARTA -- Indonesian transport ministry has opened again operation of Bali International airport in Indonesia after being closed for about 2 hours on Wednesday due to eruption of Mount Raung in East Java, official said.
The ministry closed the international airport at the country's tourism center of Bali, about 150 km from the volcano, at about 12: 30 p.m. Jakarta time as the wind blew very fast and brought the volcanic ash to the southeast and south of the crater, said J.A.
