Singapore stocks close 0.36 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 12. 24 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 3,359.17.

A total of 2.79 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 951.6 million Singapore dollars (697.9 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 261 to 191, while 499 others finished unchanged.
