2 Turkish police officers killed near border with Syria

Two Turkish police officers were killed in an attack in the southeastern Turkey bordering Syria on Wednesday, local officials said.

The two officers were killed Ceylanpinar town of Sanliurfa, bordering neighboring Syria, on Wednesday morning, local NTV broadcaster quoted the governor as saying, but no details are available so far.

The attack came after the suicide bombing by the Islamic State (IS) members in Suruc town of Sanliurfa province in southeastern Tureky on Monday. Some 32 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the blast. Endit
