Stambouli joins PSG from Tottenham

Xinhua, July 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

French player Benjamin Stambouli has joined Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint Germain on Monday from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in a five-year deal, with transfer fee reportedly between eight and nine million euros.

After one-season stint with Spurs, the former French Under-21 international is returning to Ligue 1 where he had a spell with Montpellier.

"That's the moment when you really experience the power of this club," Stambouli told PSG's official website.

Stambouli's only Tottenham goal came in a Europa League match against Partizan Belgrade. He will join his new teammates at PSG's pre-season training camp in the United States. Endi
