Xinhua, July 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Sri Lankan government said Tuesday that it was continuing investigation into the former government over alleged fraud and corruption, despite the parliament investigation set to take place next month.

Palitha Range Bandara, state minister of power and energy, and ruling United National Party member, said the allegations into some members of the former regime are being closely looked into.

He said more and more information has been unearthed with regard to the alleged large scale fraud committed by the former government.

Range Bandara said the law will be strictly followed and the current government will not take arbitrary decisions. Endi
