Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday condemned Monday's terror attack at the Turkish town of Suruc, said a statement issued by the country's Presidential Palace. "President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani strongly condemned yesterday' s terrorist attack in the border town of Suruc, Turkey that has killed at least 31 people and wounded around 100 others according to reports,"the statement reads.

An apparent suicide bombing ripped through a rally on Monday in the Amara Cultural Park of Suruc, a predominantly Kurdish town located on the Turkish border with Syria.

The Afghan leader termed"the terrorism a common threat for the regional and global countries and urged joint and serious action against it," the statement added.

President Ghani expressed his deepest condolences to the victims and their families, as well as the government and people of Turkey, and wishes those injured a speedy recovery, the statement noted. Endi
