Singapore stocks close 0.06 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished slightly lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 2.07 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 3,371.41.

A total of 3.23 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 984.5 million Singapore dollars (719.7 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 256 to 205, while 489 others finished unchanged.
