Brazil seeks to consolidate third place in Pan American Games

Brazil will try to increase the number of medals in Toronto 2015 Pan American Games to consolidate third place in medal ranking.

The Brazilian delegation has collected 28 gold, 23 silver and 35 bronze medals and is followed by Cuba (21-18-23), which has great opportunity in track-and-field and boxing and might replace Brazil in the third place to be the leader of Latin America.

The United States took over from Canada and is now leading the Games medal ranking with 50 gold, 41 silver and 44 bronze medals, followed by Canada, the host country (48-41-33).
