More than 200 people were injured in a train collision in Johannesburg on Friday night, authorities said.

ATHENS -- All Greek banks will reopen on Monday July 20 after a three-week bank holiday, but capital controls will continue, according to an official statement released on Saturday.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Saturday the nuclear agreement would not change the country's stance towards the "arrogant" United States.

SYDNEY -- An earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale jolted 83 km off Lata, Solomon Islands on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

NEW DELHI -- At least two people were killed and five others injured Saturday in a stampede at a religious festival in the eastern Indian state of Odisha, a senior police official said.

BAQUBA, Iraq -- Up to 97 people were killed and 133 wounded in a huge truck bomb explosion at a busy marketplace in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala on Friday, a provincial security source told Xinhua.

The bloody attack occurred when a truck loaded with 4-5 tons of explosives detonated as hundreds of people were crowded at a popular market at the town of Khan Bani Saad, just south of the provincial capital city of Baquba, which located some 65 northeast of Baghdad, the source said on condition of anonymity.
