LME base metals drop mostly on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Janet Yellen, chairwomen at Federal Reserve of the United States also stated that U.S. interest rates are likely to rise before the end of the year.
The stronger U.S. dollar index weighed on the dollar-denominated metals prices.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 15 U.S. dollars, or 0.27 percent, to 5,546 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 6 U.S. dollars, or 0.35 percent, to 1,715 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price lost 27 U.S. dollars, or 1.45 percent, to 1,835 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 18 U.S. dollars, or 0.86 percent, to 2,069 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 22.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.19 percent, to 11,532.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price increased 225 U.S. dollars, or 1.54 percent, to 14,875 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
